Corey Haim RIP 12/23/71 - 3/10/10

80's Icon Corey Haim has passed away at the age of 38.  Having died this morning somewhere between 2:00 and 3:30 am (conflicting reports as of this time), from an apparent accidental drug overdose, though an autopsy will reveal the official cause of death.

The Canadian born actor was found unresponsive in his Los Angeles apartment and was pronounced dead at Providence Saint Joseph Medical Center.  Haim's mother is reported to have been with him at the time of his death.

Haim was indeed a teen idol of the 80's starring in such classics as Lucas (1986),  Dream A Little Dream (1989) and Silver Bullet (1985).  He perhaps best known for his role in The Lost Boys (1987), in which he starred beside his counterpart, Corey Feldman.

The two became fast friends, and the "Two Corey Craze" took off like wildfire.  Films such as Dream A Little Dream and License To Drive cemented them as cinematic gold.  In more recent years, they reunited for the A&E show The Two Corey's.....which I actually liked.

Corey will be missed by all.....but hopefully this Lost Boy has found his way home.
God Speed, bro.
